The comfort, knowledge and relief that therapy brings will exceed your expectations.
Dr. Culiner has experience working with individuals from all walks of life, no matter what race, religion, gender or nationality. This includes people experiencing any number of specific symptoms. This can include problems such as communication difficulties, grief, intimacy or career issues. She has a background of studies in clinical and counseling psychology, psychoanalysis, and has a speciality in traumatic abuse. The approach in her practice is talk therapy with an emphasis on looking back into childhood experiences and finding the root of psychological pain and problematic behaviors such as anger, depression, shame, guilt, anxiety, and hyperactivity, as well as the inability to cope with stressors in day-to-day life. She teaches her clients self-empowerment, self-fulfillment, and effective ways to communicate no matter what the obstacle. Healthy boundaries, self-understanding, forgiveness and gentleness, compassion and respect for self and others are all part and parcel of this learning experience. Simultaneously, as these behaviors are acquired self-defeating thoughts and behaviors will begin to dissipate.
